3 Suspects Assault Teen, Attempt To Shoot Him On School Bus: Prince George's Police
A teenage boy was assaulted by a trio of suspects who boarded his school bus when it stopped. They also tried to shoot him, police say.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A teenage boy was assaulted by three people on a school bus Monday. One of the suspects tried to shoot the teen while on the bus, but the gun malfunctioned, authorities said.
Prince George's County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects, who are pictured below, and a cash reward has been offered in this case. Police didn't specify the amount of the reward.
The assault happened Monday shortly before 5 p.m. The bus had just stopped at Iverson Street and Sutler Drive to drop off students. While stopped, the three suspects who police believe are teenagers boarded the bus and began to attack the victim who was still on the bus, according to Prince George's County Police.

One of the suspects pulled out a gun and tried to shoot the victim several times, but the weapon didn't fire, police said. The teenager suffered minor injures during the assault. Two adults - a bus driver and a bus aide - were on or near the bus at the time and were uninjured.
