3 Terps Players Selected In The MLB Draft

Three Terps players have been selected in the MLB draft on the third day. They're headed to the Royals the Phillies and the Dodgers.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Three University of Maryland Terrapins baseball players have each officially signed professional contracts after being selected on the third day of the MLB draft.

Ryan Ramsey, Troy Schreffler Jr. and Chris Alleyne were the three Terps drafted. Ramsey was the first Terrapin ever drafted by the Kansas City Royals and went in the 13th round. Schreffler Jr., signed with the Philadelphia Phillies after being chosen in the 15th round. Alleyne joins the Los Angeles Dodgers after being drafted in the 19th round.
