4-Year-Old Killed In Car Crash, 2 Drivers Seriously Injured: Prince George's Police
A 4-year-old girl was killed and two drivers seriously injured when their SUVs collided in an intersection, Prince George's Police report.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A four-year-old girl has died and two adults seriously injured in a car crash that happened Tuesday around 9:20 a.m.
Prince George's police officers were called to Glenn Dale Boulevard and Daisy Lane in Glenn Dale for a report of a collision involving two SUVs. Divya Akumbom of Lanham, 4, was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead. The involved drivers also suffered serious injuries and were taken to a hospital, the police department reported.
The preliminary investigation indicates the two drivers collided in the intersection of Glenn Dale Boulevard and Daisy Lane. The investigation into the cause of the crash continues, according to the police department.
