4th Of July 2017 In PG County: What's Open, What's Closed
Wondering what's going to be open on Independence Day this year? We've got you covered.

America's favorite patriotic holiday is almost here, and with the 4th of July falling in the middle of the work week, it can be a little confusing on exactly what's open and what's closed in Prince George's County during that time.
We've provided the following roundup, courtesy of the Prince George's County government:

*Facility only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday*

Also the Parks Department says indoor and outdoor pool complexes will be be open until 4 p.m. on July 4.
Regional parks, trails, nature centers and museums are open that day.

Community centers, arts centers, senior activity centers and sports facilities will all be closed on the holiday.
TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), will not operate on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. In addition, the County’s Call-A-Bus service, including dialysis transportation, will not operate on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Regular route services will resume on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.
The Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Regular business hours will resume on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.
Prince George’s CountyClick 3-1-1 will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 and will resume regular operations on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at www.countyclick311.com/.
