$50K VaxCash 2.0 Winner From Prince George's Plans To Pay Bills, Save Up With Winnings

A Prince George's woman claimed the final $50K VaxCash 2.0 award and plans to pay bills then save her winnings.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — One of the two final VaxCash 2.0 promotional winners hails from Prince George's County. The $50,000 prize went to a woman who said she Googled the name of the Maryland Department of Health representative who called her with the news just to confirm it was the real deal.

The self-employed 33-year-old said that getting vaccinated was a “no brainer” and simply “the right thing to do.” She plans to use her winnings to pay bills and help towards living expenses for the next few years, she told Maryland Lottery officials.

All Maryland residents 18 and older who had received an initial shot(s) and a booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine at eligible facilities in Maryland at any time were eligible to win. No registration or entry was needed.
