65-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in Capitol Heights: Prince George's Police
A reward of up to $25K has been offered for information in the fatal shooting of a 65-year-old Washington, D.C., man.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case of a fatal shooting that happened Dec. 6 shortly after 7 p.m. in the 1200 block of Abel Avenue in Capitol Heights.
Leon Steadham, 65, of Washington, D.C., was found lying in the road with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to the Prince George's Police Department.
Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive. If anyone has information relevant to this investigation, they are asked to call detectives at 301-516-2512.
