69-Year-Old Bowie Man Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash In Seat Pleasant: Prince George's Police
A 69-year-old Bowie man was killed in a 2-vehicle crash that happened Thursday in Seat Pleasant, according to police.
SEAT PLEASANT, MD — A Bowie man died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash that happened in Seat Pleasant, police say.
On July 18 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Seat Pleasant police offers received a report of a crash involving two vehicles in the area of Central Avenue near Brightseat Road. Officers found 69-year-old Zachery Cummings of Bowie in his vehicle with trauma. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The second driver was not injured, according to police.
The preliminary investigation indicates the two vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of Central Avenue. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
