8 People Rescued From Flooded Business In Capitol Heights (Video)
Prince George's County firefighters were able to rescue them after torrential downpours Tuesday.

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD -- Eight people are safe thanks to the actions of Prince George's County firefighters, who rescued them after they were trapped by rising floodwaters Tuesday at a Capitol Heights business.
They had become stranded by high water in the 400 block of Old Ritchie Road. Video of the rescues is below, showing firefighters bringing back four people each time in a boat.
The area was slammed by heavy rain on Tuesday afternoon and into the evening, resulting in sudden flooding and requiring some rescues throughout the region.
