9 Children, 11 Adults Displaced In Prince George's Apartment Fire

Twenty apartment residents, including nine children, were displaced after a Sunday fire caused damage to their home, officials say.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A fire broke out in Prince George's County Sunday morning, displacing 20 people including nine children.

According to the Prince George's County Fire and Rescue, firefighters were called to the four-story apartment building located along Greenbelt Road at approximately 8 a.m. They found smoke coming from the second floor.

No one was injured in the fire, the department reported.
