Alert: Sobriety Checkpoint in Prince George's County on Friday

Police will be looking for impaired drivers Friday evening into the early morning hours of Saturday.

If you're driving Prince George's County roads this Friday, don't even think about having a drink or two beforehand.

That's good advice any day of the week, but it's especially true this upcoming Friday between the hours of 9 p.m. and 3 a.m., when the Prince George's County Police Department will be out and about conducting a sobriety checkpoint in the central part of the county, according to a police statement.

"That's why we're out there, to make sure everyone gets home safe to their loved ones, to make sure anyone on the roadways and may be under the influence knows that we can catch those individuals," said Prince George's County Police spokesperson Corp. Nicole Hubbard.
