Amazon Delivery Driver Fatally Shot After Dropping Off Groceries: Police
An Amazon delivery driver who had just dropped off groceries at a home in Temple Hills was found shot to death in his SUV, police say.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A man delivering groceries for Amazon was fatally shot Friday night in Temple Hills. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
Prince George's County police officers responded to the 2200 block of Afton Street for a report of a shooting at approximately 11:15 p.m. They found Stephen Lee Green, 34, of Sykesville in his SUV with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to the police department, Green had just delivered a grocery order to a home on Afton Street when he was shot and killed.

Green’s wife spoke with NBC Washington about the shooter.
“I think they need to go somewhere and they need to sit for the rest of their lives and think about the kind of people they’ve been and how many lives they’ve destroyed,” Candy Green said. “We’re destroyed. I didn’t even know how many (people's lives) this man touched.”

Candy Green told NBC Washington she doesn't know why her husband was targeted because he didn't carry money or wear jewelry. He did wear an Amazon vest.
