In the Feb. 12 incident, a male student at the University of Maryland in College Park reported a man exposing himself in a library bathroom around 6 p.m., Patch reported previously. The student told police he was in the bathroom stall on the sixth floor when a man entered the stall next to his and exposed himself. The suspect them left the restroom.

In the April 27 incident, a student reported a man exposing himself in a sixth floor bathroom at the McKeldin library on the University of Maryland campus around 2:30 p.m. Initially, an individual told police that someone had come to the library front desk to report an attempted indecent exposure incident. But that person then left the area without providing their contact information, Patch previously reported.

Five hours later, University of Maryland Police was contacted by the same person who identified himself as a student. He told police he was inside a restroom stall when the suspect, who was in the stall next to him, exposed himself to the student, the police department stated.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is "strongly encouraged" to contact Det. Hampson at 301-405-6249 or e-mail phampson@umpd.umd.edu. Individuals wanting to remain anonymous may e-mail http://www.umpd.umd.edu/contact/submit_tip.cfm.
