COLLEGE PARK, MD — An argument escalated early Friday morning to the point where a suspect cut a victim with a knife not far from the University of Maryland campus, police report.
The incident happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. in the 7200 block of Baltimore Avenue, according to University of Maryland Police. The off-campus second-degree assault was prompted by the argument that led to the cutting. The suspect left the scene and the victim was taken to the hospital with a minor injury, according to the Prince George's Police Department.
