Detour Planned For $6.4M Bridge Replacement Project In Prince George's

A detour will be put in place Friday for a $6.4M bridge replacement project in Brandywine that will last until mid-August.

BRANDYWINE, MD — Work will start Friday on a $6.4 million bridge replacement project on MD 382 (Croom Road) that spans County Line Creek in Brandywine. Detours will be in place for the bridge to be removed and a new bridge to be constructed.

The project calls for the demolition and replacement of the existing two-lane bridge originally constructed in 1963. The new structure will feature a single-span concrete bridge that will be slightly wider than the existing bridge.
