Suspect Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of DC Woman At Oxon Run Park

Juanita Frazier was found in a parking lot with a fatal gunshot wound in April. Police have arrested the suspect.

TEMPLE HILLS, MD — A suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old Washington, D.C., woman in late April has been arrested.

On April 28 at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers with Maryland-National Capital Park Police - Prince George’s County Division and the PGPD were called to the Oxon Run Community Park for a report of an unresponsive woman.

Juanita Frazier was found in a parking lot with a gunshot wound. She died at the scene, according to police.

Detectives identified 51-year-old William Jolly of Clinton as the suspect during their investigation and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

On Friday, the PGPD’s Fugitive Unit, which is part of the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, found and arrested Jolly in his Clinton home.

The preliminary investigation indicated that Jolly drove Frazier to the Oxon Hill Community Park before shooting her and leaving the area. The motive remains under investigation.

Jolly has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges. He’s in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
