PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in connection with a 2020 fatal shooting in Landover, Prince George's County police said.
Police are searching for 34-year-old Dayvon Gordon, who is wanted in the killing of 22-year-old Andre Lamont Cox Jr. Gordon's last known address was in Washington, D.C.
According to police, the shooting occurred Oct. 27, 2020, in the 3200 block of 75th Avenue. Officers responding to the scene found Cox suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside. He died a short time later.
Prince George's County police said investigators identified two suspects through the course of the investigation. One suspect was arrested shortly after the shooting, while Gordon has remained at large.
Detectives said they have pursued multiple leads since the killing, but have been unable to locate Gordon. Investigators believe he is receiving assistance from one or more people to avoid arrest.
