Driver Dies 6 Weeks After Crash In Upper Marlboro

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — The driver in a crash that happened in early June has died of his injuries, police report.

Around 12:30 p.m. on June 5, Prince George's County police officers were called to the area of Croom Road and West End Farm Road in Upper Marlboro for a report of a single-vehicle crash. They found 71-year-old Thomas Garner III in the vehicle alone.

Garner was taken to the hospital, where he died July 18, police reported.

Investigators continue to investigate the crash and ask that anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has dash camera or home surveillance footage that captured the incident contact the Prince George’s County Police Department at 301-731-4422.
