Armed Robbery Unfolds Near University Of Maryland Campus

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Shortly after midnight Monday, a man reported being robbed by four suspects.

The incident happened outside a business located in the 9000 block of Baltimore Avenue around 12:30 a.m. The Prince George's Police Department notified university police around 10:30 a.m. that same day.

The victim told police that while walking to his vehicle, four suspects approached him and one pulled out a gun. The suspects demanded the man give him his valuables, which he did, the police department stated.

The Prince George's County Police Department is investigating the off-campus armed robbery.
