Police Seeking New Leads In Fatal 2025 Hit-And-Run That Killed Upper Marlboro Man

Prince George's County police are asking for the public's help locating two cars involved in the hit-and-run collision.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Prince George's County police are once again asking for the public's help locating two vehicles believed to be involved in a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of an Upper Marlboro man last year.

Investigators are trying to identify a dark-colored Toyota Corolla that likely has front-end damage and a white Nissan Altima that is likely missing its front plastic wheel well liners and has undercarriage damage, police said in an update released Thursday.

The vehicles are believed to have been involved in the July 26, 2025, crash that killed 25-year-old Antone Brooks of Upper Marlboro.

According to investigators, Brooks was struck by two vehicles while in the eastbound lanes of the 9000 block of Central Avenue in Seat Pleasant around 9:45 p.m. Neither driver stopped after the collision.

Brooks was taken to a hospital, where he died a day later, police said.

The Prince George's County Police Department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.

Anyone who spots either vehicle or has information about the case is asked to contact the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422 and reference case No. 25-0041174.
