GREENBELT, MD — Police announced Friday that they have arrested the suspect wanted in connection to the vandalism of three Greenbelt homes.
Greenbelt police officers were called to a home located in the 8200 block of Miner Street for a report of vandalism that had happened earlier in the week. While canvassing the area, Greenbelt police officers noticed damage to other homes, including broken windows.
Officers reviewed doorbell camera footage from one of the damaged homes, courtesy of the property owner. The video showed Nghia Trong Le walking toward the home, bending down, picking up a rock and then noises consistent with glass breaking, the police department shared.
Greenbelt police officers arrested Le and charged him with malicious destruction of property valued at more than $1,000. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Greenbelt Police Department at 301-474-7200.
