UPPER MARLBORO, MD — A 64-year-old Upper Marlboro man died Friday in a single-vehicle crash, police report.
Around 2:05 p.m. Aug. 7, Prince George's police officers were called to the area of Church Road and Oak Grove Road for a report of a crash. They found Craig Stevenson at the scene. He was taken to the hospital by emergency personnel where he was pronounced dead, police stated Tuesday.
The preliminary investigation indicates that Stevenson was traveling on Oak Grove Road when, for reasons now under investigation, his car veered off the roadway and crashed.
Investigators ask that anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has dash camera or home surveillance footage that may have captured the incident contact the Prince George's County Police Department.
