Deputies found a man with multiple stab wounds to his arm, chest and abdomen. He was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition, according to the sheriff's office.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim and suspect worked together. A verbal argument between them escalated into a physical altercation in the parking lot, during which the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene, according to deputies.

The suspect was identified as 17-year-old Darwin Orlando Martinez-Serrano, of Hyattsville. He was arrested later that night in Hyattsville and taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center where he was charged as an adult with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
