• Wanted Suspect Flees Maryland Traffic Stop, Kills Woman In Wrong-Way Bowie Crash: Police (dailyvoice.com) — A woman was killed Wednesday afternoon when a fleeing suspect drove the wrong way and crashed on Ninth Street in Bowie, shortly after officers were ordered to stop pursuing him. The suspect survived with non-life-threatening injuries, and this marks the second fatal crash in Bowie in two days, with another person killed overnight on Annapolis Road.
   

• Bowie Woman Dies 5 Days After Shooting In 'Historic' Neighborhood;' Gunman Held Without Bail (dailyvoice.com) — A 38-year-old Bowie woman has died five days after being shot on Myrtle Avenue, and Bowie Police say homicide investigators from Prince George's County are now involved. The suspect, arrested shortly after the incident, remains jailed without bail as authorities consider potential upgraded charges and offer condolences to the victim's family.
