• Bowie Woman Dies After Driver Fleeing Traffic Stop Crashes Into Her: Police (patch.com) — A 69-year-old Bowie woman was killed Wednesday when a driver fleeing a traffic stop crossed the double yellow line on 9th Street and crashed head-on into her car, police said. Prince George's County officers had already been ordered to stop pursuing the suspect, who was later hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators are asking anyone in the area with dashcam or home security footage to contact them.
