LANDOVER, MD — Multiple suspects have been arrested and charged in two separate murders that happened in Landover in October 2024. Two of the suspects have been charged in both cases.
The first murder happened Oct. 22, 2024. The victim, 18-year-old Kesean Pollard of Landover, was found by Prince George's Police with gunshot wounds inside a car located in the 7100 block of Old Landover Road. He died at the scene, according to the Prince George's Police Department.
Nine days later, 29-year-old Tresean Sparrow Bey of Landover was shot and killed in the 900 block of Atlee Drive in Landover.
The nearly year-long investigation into Sparrow Bey's homicide resulted in charges being filed in July 2025 against 22-year-old Devin Spivey of Laurel and 19-year-old Shamar Evans of Washington, D.C. The motive for the shooting continues to be investigated.
Then on Sept. 30, four arrest warrants were obtained in Pollard's death investigation. The four suspects are 22-year-old Donzell Gibson of Waldorf, 22-year-old Nathaniel Washington of Washington, D.C., Spivey and Evans.
In this case, the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute, according to police.
Prince George's Police stated there is no indication that the two men's homicides are related and there's no apparent connection between the two victims.
Spivey and Evans are in custody at the Prince George's County Department of Corrections. Gibson is in Charles County custody on unrelated charges. Washington is in custody in Cumberland also on unrelated charges.
