LANDOVER, MD — Three people have been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a 20-year-old man in Landover, according to Prince George's County police.
The suspects are De'Andre Reid, 23, of Riverdale; Wonnae Bridgeforth, 26, of Landover; and Wonnese Bridgeforth, 24, of Upper Marlboro. All three are charged in the killing of 20-year-old Diontay Jackson of Landover.
Officers responded to the 3200 block of 75th Avenue around 1:10 p.m. Sunday for a reported shooting.
Police found Jackson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later.
While homicide detectives were at the hospital investigating Jackson's death, they learned that Reid had arrived with a gunshot wound. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.
Investigators determined that the suspects and Jackson knew one another and that the shooting stemmed from a dispute.
Police have not released additional details about the confrontation or what led to the gunfire.
Reid, Wonnae Bridgeforth and Wonnese Bridgeforth each face first-degree murder and related charges. All three are being held without bond in the Department of Corrections.
The Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the shooting.
