Apply Now For Bowie Online Workforce Training Program, Feb. 18 Deadline

BOWIE, MD — The city of Bowie is accepting applications for its free online workforce training program for residents age 15 to 25. The application can be accessed online on the program website at www.cityofbowie.org/worktraining and will be available until Feb. 18. There also will be two online public info sessions about the program on Jan. 26 and Feb. 9 at 7 p.m., also on Zoom.

Program dates for Module 1, covering life skills and STEM careers are Tuesdays March 15, 22 and 29, and April 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. online via Zoom for youth participants ages 15 to 17 and Thursdays, March 17, 24 and 31, and April 7 for adult participants ages 18 to 25. Module 2, focused on innovation and entrepreneurship, will take place online Tuesday evenings May 3 and May 10 for youth and Thursday evenings May 5 and 12 for adults.
