Youth ages 14 to 22 in Prince George's County can apply now for a summer work experience. The deadline to apply is March 31.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Applications are open now for Prince George’s County Youth@Work/Summer Youth Enrichment Program. County residents ages 14 to 22 can submit an online application between now and March 31.

“Our Summer Youth Enrichment Program is one of the many ways we are creating and expanding opportunities for our young people to grow and thrive,” Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks said. “Last year, we were able to place more than 4,400 young people in enriching summer experiences, despite COVID-related budget constraints. We encourage all young people interested in a rewarding summer work experience to apply as soon as possible.”

SYEP provides job readiness training, career workshops and entry-level summer employment opportunities to young people ages 14 to 22. Youth who apply and are selected for the program are placed in summer work experiences in county government agencies, private sector companies, non-profits and other community organizations.
