The Institute for Creative Community Initiatives (ICCI) wants to provide you with FREE job-readiness and computer literacy training. Career Climbers 101, sponsored by the City of Bowie Community Outreach Committee’s Grants Program, will give you exactly what you need to jump-start your career.
- Learn the basics of computer literacy
- Craft a concise, job-specific, eye-catching resume that will land you your next job
- Discover strategies to use when navigating employment databases and attending job fairs and networking events
- Practice and fine-tune your interview skills to ease anxiety about your next interview
- Address the importance of professionalism and developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues and senior management
- Master the art of public speaking and making successful presentations in the workplace
