Arrest Made in Shooting Death of Hyattsville Man

Prince George's County police have charged a Bladensburg man in the death of a Hyattsville man. Police say the two argued before shots were fired.

An argument between two Prince George’s County men escalated to one dying from gunshot wounds, and the quick arrest of the other as the suspected killer.

Nathaniel Jamar Johnson, 26, of the 5500 block of Tilden Road in Bladensburg, was arrested early Friday morning at his home, charged with killing Larry Nathaniel Williams, 22, of Eldridge Street in Hyattsville.

Bladensburg Police were called about 9 p.m. Wednesday to the 5000 block of 57th Avenue for a report of gunshots in the area. Officers found Williams suffering from gunshot wounds, lying in a parking lot. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died of his injuries several hours later.
