Arrest Warrant Issued in Fatal Shooting Outside Bowie Swim Club
An Upper Marlboro man is being sought by police for a fatal shooting near Bowie High School.

A Bowie man was fatally shot as he tried to break up a fight among teenagers in the parking lot outside The Bel Air Swim and Racquet Club, say Prince George’s County Police.
Mitchell White, 39, of Flamingo Lane in Bowie was shot about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 12700 block of Midwood Lane. Officers found White suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead on the scene.
On Thursday, police obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect in the shooting, Deon Eugene Warren, 19, of the 8800 block of East Grove in Upper Marlboro. Warren is charged with first-degree murder.

The shooting happened near a tree-lined area close to Bowie High School.
NBC 4 says that teens were still on the school grounds when the shots were fired, and people scattered.
