10K Backpacks Filled With School Supplies To Be Given Away At Aug. 20 Event

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — During “Synchrony's Great Giveback,” a hands-on service initiative, 10,000 backpacks with school supplies will be distributed to Prince George's County Public Schools students at the school system’s annual Back 2 School Drive & Dash event Aug. 20 at Charles Herbert Flowers, High Point and Oxon Hill high schools.

“We are so grateful for these essential back-to-school supplies and the commitment of Synchrony volunteers to ensure our students have the tools they need to succeed,” PGCPS Chief Executive Officer Monica Goldson said. “This donation will go a long way in supporting our families as they prepare for the new school year.”
