Barricade In Woodlawn Ends, Police Reopen Roads: Report
A man who apparently tried to rob a check-cashing store Monday morning barricaded himself inside the building.
UPDATE 2:09 p.m.: Police say the barricade situation has ended and road closures will end once police equipment is removed.
WOODLAWN, MD — Police are on the scene of a barricade situation in Woodlawn after a man apparently tried to rob a check cashing store, according to a report.
WTOP reports that police shut down a stretch of Annapolis Road near the Capital Plaza shopping center Monday morning.

It does not appear anyone else is in the building with him, police say.
Update: barricade on Annapolis Rd is over. Road closures will be lifted once police equipment is removed. Will be shortly.
