Belair Cooperative Nursery Schools Annual Holiday Food Drive

With the holidays just around the corner, the Belair Cooperative Nursery School’s annual holiday food drive is in full swing. The school has begun its community involvement with a field trip to the Bowie Food Pantry. Students were given a tour of the facility and learned the importance of community action. Established in 1962, Belair Cooperative Nursery School strives to provide their students with an integrative experience that focuses on fostering a sense of community involvement. It is the school’s philosophy to encourage student participation in one’s natural, social, and cultural environment. The Bowie Food Pantry will be accepting food donations throughout the holiday season to better serve our community of families who visit the pantry on a daily basis. The Bowie Food Pantry is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9am-12pm and is located at 2614 Kenhill Dr., Bowie, MD.
