A tractor-trailer overturned early Wednesday, spilling its load of potatoes onto the Capital Beltway in Prince George's County.

Crashes happen every day on the Capital Beltway, but Wednesday morning’s mishap that injured a truck driver was a rarity.

A tractor-trailer jackknifed on the Outer Loop about 2:30 a.m. near Forestville, spilling its load of potatoes onto the interstate, reports WTOP.
