Beware: Man Impersonating Police Officer in PG County, Report Says

The man reportedly drives a black Mercury Grand Marquis with a police mirror on the left side.

A man is impersonating a police officer in Prince George's County, and police are seeking the public's help in finding him.

A Prince George's County woman was pulled over on Old Branch Road in Clinton, Md. on Monday night at around 9:30 p.m. by a black Mercury Grand Marquis with a police mirror on the left side, according to a WUSA 9 report.

The car has a flashing red dome light and the man was wearing a Prince George's County Police uniform, including a county patch and badge.

He is described as white, about 6 foot 3 inches tall and 250 lbs who is bald with a skull tattoo near his neck. Police are asking anyone who sees him to call right away, according to the report.

Police say that those who are uncomfortable with a police stop can drive to a lighted area and call a supervisor.
