Big Food and Wine Festival Coming to Six Flags This Weekend

Tickets are on sale now for the "Taste Prince George's Food and Wine" festival.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD -- It's almost time for the fourth annual "Taste Prince George's Food and Wine" festival at Six Flags America, and tickets are on sale now for the Aug. 13 event.

For $38, you'll get access to the "best food, wine, sweet treats and cool vendors that gorgeous Prince George's has to offer," the Six Flags website states.

"From crab cakes to local fine wine, you will have a blast enjoying the festival under the coasters!" the website adds.

The festival will feature more than 30 restaurants, local and national wineries, live music, chef demonstrations and culinary competitions from noon until 6 p.m.

Six Flags season passholders don't have to purchase a ticket for the festival.

If it rains, the festival will be rescheduled for Aug. 20.

You will still have to pay to sample from food vendors at the festival, and the price and portions will vary depending on the vendor.

"However, each Taste Prince George's Food Vendor is required to have at least one menu item priced at $2-3," the site states. "Most vendors will be featuring taste sized protions from $2-10."
