Black Friday 2022 Mall Hours: When Prince George's Malls Will Be Open

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The holiday season kicks off this week when Black Friday arrives and retailers offer a variety of deals and specials.

The Mall at Prince George's will be closed Thanksgiving Day and open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for Black Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

The Bowie Town Center will be closed Thanksgiving Day open Black Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Beltway Plaza will be closed Thanksgiving Day open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Black Friday.

The Towne Centre Laurel doesn't have holiday hours posted online; normal hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m.; store hours may vary.

A record 166.3 million people in the U.S. are expected to shop through the Thanksgiving holiday weekend into Cyber Monday, according to the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics. That's the highest number since the National Retail Federation began estimating these numbers in 2017.

The impacts of inflation will motivate consumers' holiday shopping habits this year, according to BlackFriday.com, a site sharing Black Friday deals. The website surveyed 1,000 shoppers in the U.S. finding 70 percent will factor in inflation when shopping for holiday gifts and 77 percent will look for deals on particular items.
