Bladensburg Man Charged In 2022 Double Murder: Prince George's Police

A 35-year-old Bladensburg man has been charged in connection to a double murder that happened in December 2022, police say.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 35-year-old Bladensburg man has been charged in connection to the murders of 29-year-old Abdul Bah of no fixed address and 29-year-old Moshood Akinrinsola of Beltsville.

On Dec. 7, 2022, at approximately 3:40 a.m., officers were called to the 5400 block of Annapolis Road for a report of a crash. Officers found both victims inside an SUV with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead on the scene, according to a police report.

Detectives identified Dwayne Richardson of Bladensburg as the suspect. The suspect and victims knew each other. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.

Richardson has been charged with two counts of first- and second-degree murder and related charges.
