Bladensburg Shooting Leaves 1 Man Dead: Police

BLADENSBURG, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that left a 27-year-old man dead in Bladensburg Wednesday.

At about 12:25 a.m., officers responded to the 4300 block of 57th Ave. for the sound of gunshots. When they arrived, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot would. He died at the hospital a short time later, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Tony Demar Miller, Jr., of Landover. Detectives are working to identify a suspect and motive in the case.
