Body Found in National Harbor, Police Reopen Fleet Street After Shutting it Down

Detectives do not suspect foul play in the death of an adult male in National Harbor on Thursday.

UPDATE 12:15 p.m.: Fleet Street has been reopened.

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD — Police have shut down Fleet Street in National Harbor after discovering a body Thursday morning, and detectives so far do not believe it is a case of foul play.

The Prince George's County Police Department tweeted at 10:31 a.m. that they were on the scene of a death investigation in the 170 block of Fleet Street.

Police closed Fleet Street between American Way and Waterfront Street as detectives investigated.

"Detectives are on scene working to establish the cause of the individuals death," police said.

Police later said they did not suspect foul play. The victim is an adult man.
