The Bowie Baysox Looked Absolutely Fabulous Friday Night [PHOTOS]
The team donned special uniforms in honor of the late pop star David Bowie.

If you headed to Prince George's Stadium in Bowie to watch the hometown Baysox take on the Erie SeaWolves, you probably noticed that things were a bit more sparkly than usual.
That's because for one night only, the team changed its name from the Bowie Baysox to the Bowie Baysox -- or from "Boo-ee" to "Boh-ee," in honor of pop legend David Bowie who died earlier this year from cancer.
To honor Bowie, the team organized a promotional night in his honor this past Friday, including redesigning their uniforms in the flamboyant David Bowie style.

"The team will represent the star with Bowie music, contests and tributes throughout the event," a team statement issued before the event read. "The Baysox will also wear special David Bowie-themed jerseys during the game that will be auctioned off during an in-game jersey auction. Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit Feeding America.
"The designs for the multi-colored jerseys were inspired by the many flamboyant outfits that David Bowie was famous for wearing during his performances," the statement added.
