Bowie Holiday House Decorating Contest Winners 2015

BOWIE, MD — Keith Teets, 3310 Moylan Drive, has received the top prize in Bowie’s holiday decorating contest for houses.

He won the Pirmohamed Family Award, which comes with $100, for incorporating methods to involve children and family interaction in his display.

A full list of all the winners is below.

Decorations were evaluated on creativity, appearance, and effort and will be entered in one of the three categories:

• Traditional: White or colored lights, Santa Claus and friends, children’s fantasies, etc.
• Religious: Any denomination
• Colonial: White lights, candles in the windows, greenery, Williamsburg look

Four prizes will be awarded:

• Pirmohamed Family Award: $100 for incorporating methods to involve children and family interaction
• Mateik-Pitts Family Award: $100 for best first time entries
• Best of Bowie Awards: White House Ornament
• Bowie Spirit Awards: Belair Mansion Ornament
