Find Cheapest Gas in Bowie for Fourth of July Travel

While gas prices in Maryland climbed throughout the spring, they likely peaked in mid-June and Bowie area drivers will pay less to gas up their car for the Fourth of July travel weekend than a year ago.

Thursday’s national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $2.76 compared to $3.67 in July 2014, says AAA MidAtlantic. Drivers will pay the lowest prices at the pump over the Fourth of July holiday weekend in at least five years, the agency says.

Regular gas in Maryland was selling for $2.64 to $2.69 a gallon in many locations.
