Prince George's County Restaurants Open On Thanksgiving Day

BOWIE, MD — For people who don’t want the hassle of cooking or cleaning up after a big turkey dinner, several restaurants across Prince George's are open on Thanksgiving Day, which is on Nov. 28 this year.

Among the Bowie area restaurants taking reservations on Thanksgiving Day are:

• Succotash - National Harbor
• Bond 45 - National Harbor
• McCormick & Schmick's Seafood - National Harbor
• Sauciety at The Westin Washington National Harbor
• Portum Restaurant and Lounge

Several national chain restaurants with a presence in Maryland also will be open on Thanksgiving Day, according to lists curated by delish, Good Housekeeping and USA Today. They offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan ahead as much as possible.

Chart House: Three-course meal options on the restaurant’s Thanksgiving menu include a turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, stuffing and all the trimmings. Order-ahead options are available.

Domino’s Pizza: Stores aren’t required to, but some individual locations may choose to be open on Thanksgiving.

Denny’s: The restaurant will be open during regular hours.

Fogo de Chão: Restaurants will be open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

IHOP: Hours may vary by location.
