Bowiefest Celebrates with Food, Music, Rides and More
The annual event starts at 11 a.m. June 6 at Allen Pond Park. Shuttle buses will run from the park and ride lot on Northview.

Food, music, rides, arts and more are all part of this year’s Bowiefest, set for Saturday, June 6.
Bowie’s annual celebration of all things Bowie takes place at Allen Pond Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Stop by for lunch and some musical entertainment or plan to stay all day and take in all of the offerings. There will be rides, performances, a rib-eating contest, and a host of food and drink options throughout the park.

There’s also an Arts and Crafts fair, a Home and Health Expo in the Ice Arena, and local organizations will have booths scattered throughout the park to tell you about what they do.
Don’t miss a performance by LCB on the Amphitheater Stage at 3:25 p.m. The band plays ‘60s and ‘70s music and includes former members of Motown bands The Platters, The Temptations, and the Drifters. View a link to the event program at www.cityofbowie.org/bowiefest.

Shuttle buses will run from the Park and Ride lot on Northview Drive to the park throughout the day. There will also be parking at the Allen Pond Park or on side streets around the park.
