Brandywine Driver Dies In Car Crash

A 60-year-old Brandywine driver has died after police say Tony Andrea Johnson was involved in a two-vehicle crash.

BRANDYWINE, MD — A 60-year-old Brandywine resident has died after police say Tony Andrea Johnson was involved in a car crash Saturday night.

Prince George's police officers were called to the area of Brandywine Road and Letcher Road around 6:05 p.m. They found two vehicles that were involved in a collision. Johnson died at the scene. The second driver suffered injuries that weren't considered life-threatening, according to police.

The preliminary investigation indicates that Johnson was heading northbound on Brandywine Road he lost control of his vehicle, according to police.
