Prince George's First Responders, Dispatchers Honored With Breakfast Parade
Residents and staff at Tribute at Melford hosted a breakfast parade recently to honor Prince George's first responders and dispatchers.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD β The residents of Tribute at Melford in Bowie helped with a lively breakfast parade complete with lights, sirens and delicious food recently. Nearly 100 breakfasts were served to both first responders and dispatchers as a way to honor them. Residents helped hand out the to-go breakfasts and thank them personally for all that they do.
"Our residents and team members were excited to recognize our local first responders today," Apaulene Smith, community relations director at Tribute at Melford, told Patch. "It's so important for us to be able to thank them for all they do for our community."
"It was nice to be able to thank our local firefighters, police and EMTs with a parade and breakfast," added Delores Bishop, a resident of Tribute at Melford.
