Burger Joint Opens 1st PG County Restaurant (ICYMI)

RIVERDALE PARK, MD -- A new burger joint is coming to Prince George's County next week.

Habit Burger Grill will open its first PG County location in Riverdale Park on July 11, and will hold a fundraising day for the Riverdale Park Volunteer Fire Department on July 8, the chain said in a statement.

The restaurant will be located at 4502 Van Buren Street at Riverdale Station Center.

The chain started in 1969 in Santa Barbara, California, and its grilled Charburgers are available at locations in Waldorf, Gaithersburg, and Rockville in Maryland, as well as in Ashburn, Va.

The restaurant will hold several days of events prior to the grand opening to encourage people to sign up for Habit Burger's CharClub, including a Free Burger Day on Saturday and a Free Habit Lunch on Sunday as well as Tuesday.

The restaurant will span 2,382 square feet and seat 53 people inside and 28 on the patio. It will be open seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m.

In addition to burgers, the restaurant offers salads, sushi, chicken, and sirloin steak.
