Burglar Accidentally Hits Self In Head With Brick In Suitland
Police are asking for the public's help in finding someone with a "suspicious head injury."

SUITLAND, MD -- Police are on the lookout for a man with a "suspicious head injury" after a would-be burglar was caught on surveillance video striking himself in the head with a brick or large rock he had thrown at some bulletproof glass.
The suspect used a brick to shatter a front glass window of a carryout business in the 4000 block of Suitland Road on Sept. 20. But when he tried the same tactic on some bulletproof glass protecting the front counter, things went very badly for him, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
"He tried three times. On the third attempt, the brick or rock flew back at him, appearing to hit him in the head," the report states. "The suspect fell to the ground where he laid for a few minutes. He eventually got up and left the business."
